About Adam
Adam Conner-Simons, MA is a license-eligible mental health counselor serving a wide range of communities in Greater Boston. He specializes in helping teenagers and adults with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, family/relationship conflicts, and managing daily life stressors. He works regularly with Gen Z, LGBTQ and male-identifying individuals, incorporating topics and exercises such as mindfulness, parts work and self-compassion into his client-centered therapeutic approach.

Adam has experience working with people from a diversity of cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities, in a range of settings that include mental-health non-profits and college career centers. He has also led both clinical and non-clinical groups focused on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), chronic pain, and meditation for young adults.

He earned his master’s degree in mental health counseling at the University of Massachusetts of Boston, after receiving a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Pomona College in California. In his previous career he was a director of communications and public relations for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a freelance journalist for the New York Times and the Boston Globe.
