About Lora
Lora Freeman Williams has her M.A. from Lesley University in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Expressive Arts Therapy and is a pre-licensed clinician. She works sensitively and compassionately with clients to identify and achieve their goals for their mental, emotional, relational health, and for greater satisfaction with their lives.

Lora enjoys working with adults, adolescents 15 and older, with couples, and with groups. She supports clients in navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, as well as recovery from complex trauma. Other areas in which she has extensive experience serving clients includes substance use recovery, personality disorders, high-conflict relationships, divorce, religious/spiritual abuse, ADHD, processing grief, and other major life transitions.

She is certified in yoga, meditation, mediation, and as a facilitator in Gender Equity and Reconciliation work. She is an enthusiastic LGBTQIA+ ally. She uses a client-centered approach and draws upon tools from a variety of methods to meet the client where they’re at, including somatic psychotherapy, cognitive approaches, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, communication skills training, Internal Family Systems, and expressive arts therapies.

Outside of work, Lora spends time with family, her dog and cats, makes music, spends time hiking in nature, and is an avid reader and writer.
