About Rebecca Scott
Rebecca Scott (Becca) is a dedicated pre-licensed mental health counselor providing compassionate care to individuals aged 15 and older, as well as college students, couples, and families across Massachusetts through Brighter Life Therapy, PLLC. Becca understands that life can be challenging, and she offers a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions, work through difficulties, and build a path toward growth and healing.

Becca specializes in supporting clients navigating anxiety, mild to moderate depression, ADHD, social anxiety, trauma, and daily life stressors. She also helps with relationship challenges, self-esteem issues, narcissistic abuse recovery, family conflicts, attachment concerns, parenting issues, career counseling, and work-life balance. Additionally, Becca is passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community and providing guidance for women’s issues, autism, divorce, and adjustment disorders.

With a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Merrimack College in North Andover, MA, Becca brings years of experience in community mental health settings to her practice. Her approach is client-centered and adaptable, focusing on meeting each person where they are in their journey. She believes that trust, empathy, and understanding are the foundation of meaningful therapeutic work.

Becca uses an integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based and holistic modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs. Her methods include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, mindfulness practices, humanistic and holistic therapy, family systems therapy, and conflict resolution strategies. For couples and families, Becca helps foster open communication, rebuild trust, and address underlying issues in relationships.

In her work with college students and young adults, Becca provides guidance on navigating life transitions, academic pressures, and identity exploration. Her collaborative and strengths-based approach empowers clients to uncover their inner resilience and work toward lasting change.
